Even Japan's prevalency of 100Mbit/s to the house can't compete with 2Gbit/s!
Though there is still the question of just how much bandwidth is actually usable/shared or even connected to the Internet... not just each other.
2Gbit/s shared amongst 20,000 households is actuallly only 200Kbit/s each if everyone downloads at once... I guess that's why they say burst...
